WeBaSOOP team at the 67th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements

On May 20th – 23rd 2025, under the slogan “Play for Humanity! Science for All – Innovations Change the World,” the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia presented the official Government exhibition at the 67th International Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements, dedicated to innovation, technology, and knowledge as drivers of the future.

The exhibition was set up in Hall 2C of the Belgrade Fair, covering an area of over 2,500 m². It showcased cutting-edge domestic and international technical achievements, featuring 64 individual displays and 33 exhibitors, including state institutions, scientific institutes, faculties, innovation centers, science and technology parks, astronomical observatories and societies, private companies, and other representatives of the economy. The exhibition was further enriched by recipients of funding from the Science Fund and the Innovation Fund. The display also included representatives from 40 startups in the fields of biotechnology, artificial intelligence, creative industries, and biomedicine. This year’s partner country, the Republic of Hungary, presented 10 startups.

WeBaSOOP team presented a 3D printed model and a visual demonstration of the Prototype of Serbia’s First Supersite for Atmospheric Particle Pollution Monitoring – Measuring Ultrafine Particles, Soot, and Oxidative Potential. The measurements obtained on the First Supersite in Serbia provide deeper insight into population exposure to pollutants and their impact on human health and the environment, in line with WHO recommendations. The results of these measurements are intended to serve as a guide for regulatory bodies in making decisions to improve air quality.
