WeBaSOOP at the Researchers’ night in Belgrade, Serbia

As part of the Noć istraživača (European Researchers’ Night) outreach programme, we developed and presented an interactive educational game aimed at improving children’s awareness of air quality and pollution sources.

The activity was designed for primary school–age children and focused on distinguishing between:

  • Environmentally beneficial elements (e.g., bicycle, wind generator, tree)
  • Air pollution sources (e.g., furnace, cigarette, car)

Educational Game on Air Quality designed by VINCA`s WeBaSOOP team

The game combines simple mechanics with environmental education principles to create an engaging and memorable learning experience.

The main educational goal was to introduce children to:

  • The concept of air pollution
  • Human activities that contribute to poor air quality
  • Sustainable alternatives and environmentally friendly choices
